The 1,850-square-foot, two-story house with a wraparound porch and metal roof was owned by Arthur Dunn and Mayme Louise Taylor. It was constructed in 1918 and was lived on by the family through 1966. The almost-a-century-old home made its way south on U.S. 1 in Mims to a new location just north of Parrish Medical Center.
